Demon

All of us live with a demon inside.
Some days you control the demon. And other days it controls you.
And it is always hungry. It feeds on lust and longing.

And while you may slumber, the demon never sleeps.
It tempts you into crossing every line you’ve ever drawn,
all the while it tests you, haunts you.
And once it has turned your loved ones into enemies,
the demon has consumed you whole.

    1. Demons are very real personalities which humans do not need to live with. Your post is quite true in that “while you may slumber, the demon never sleeps” however not ALL of us live with a demon inside. By accepting Jesus Christ into your heart and receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit one ultimately makes your body i.e the home of the demon uninhabitable for them. You can rebuke a demon in Jesus name and it must flee. You can learn the rights Jesus Christ gave his followers to tread on such demons with no harm to them. Your blog reads like a desperate cry of a soul longing to be set free. There is freedom my friend and that freedom is found in the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I could have kept scrolling past your posting but I noticed you and your attempt to make light of such a serious and overwhelming topic, demonic influence. I can empathize with your perspective but can agree that all have demons because as the living Word says, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32.

  1. Dear brother Shekhar,
    Jesus loves you.
I must tell you a truth. I was troubled by demons from the age of three and was crying out to God to save me. And these demons made me do many wrong things called ‘sins’ which can be clearly understood by our conscience as trespassing against the love of God.
And suddenly, one day Jesus walked into my life and gripped me in his arms. Oh that warmth! It is tremendous ecstasy. One that I cannot explain to you in words.
And life ever since is in the warmth of his heart. Before this, I too felt alone; uncertain about my soul. Now I know, if I drop dead this moment, I shall be with my Saviour and lover.
Oh how tremendous is his love!
    Taste it for yourself.
Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour if you want life. As Christ alone is life and love.
    I love you.
    Aby.
