Have you ever been in love?
Horrible isn’t it?Read More
It makes you so vulnerable.
It opens your chest and it opens up your heart
and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up.

  1. Oh… I’m so sorry to hear that that is how love has been treating you. Yeah… there is a part of love that is terrible. But I can guarantee that in order for it to reach its full potential you must have your heart open enough to let someone else’s open heart inside. Not to mention all the learning you get from it. This coming from my person experience of too many heart aches and one very powerful and successful love. Hope you find it too!

  3. ha.. true it is upto some extent. But true love plays a magic to have the same feeling in the hearts of both lovers. Often they fail to realize that their partner also having similar aches and pains. Once you realize that, love is going to be a wonderful feeling and at a later point of time we love without expecting anything to be returned.

  4. Yes, love can break your heart: there’s this song with the lines “forget your perfect offering, There’s a break in everything. That’s how the light gets in”
Namaste, lost soul! We all are, in some way or another …
And thank you so much for following and your likes! Greetings from Vienna!

  5. Hopefully, as you get older, you will realize that it is not easy for others to mess you up, psychologically, at least, without your approval. Until then enjoy the challenges of relationships. 🙂

      1. In Trinidad, where my wife is from, they have a word: tabanka, which means being in a blue funk after having lost one’s love. My wife’s grandparents are from India, so I was wondering Shekhar – is there a similar word in Hindi?

      2. They do not know – maybe Delhi. They were indentured labourers from India to Trinidad in – maybe the 1950s? There are no records of which part of india they are from, but they spoke Hindi, so maybe not Maharashtra. 🙂

levishedated is my unique word. No-one else in the world uses this word, so it means that whenever you search on the internet using this term, everything you see is mine. 😉
I don’t hide who I am though – on the ‘About’ section of my blog you can see my full name and biography.

  6. I just blogged about “Love is a Risk…” I’m done with feeling safe… we have but one life to live. As I mentioned, a ship was not built to stay at the dock. There is a vast ocean out there.
We have to risk being vulnerable… give someone the power to break our heart but trust that they will handle it with care.

  7. I’ve been on both sides of the coin:
    – being madly in love and then
    – wanting nothing to do with love at all

The latter is a defense mechanism at self preservation, but it also speaks to my personality, I’m either I’m all in or all out. For this reason I totally understand your current state and simply offer hugs and best wishes as you find your path to better days.
